02 / The format
What the episode actually is
It is a short briefing, about two minutes, published before the New York open. Two branded voices work through the same three things I work through myself: where the option market has left its pressure levels overnight, which supply or demand zone is in play, and what the grade on that zone says.
Everything in it is real and dated. The levels are the ones computed that morning, the chart on screen is the chart, and the episode carries the date in its title so you can tell at a glance which session you are looking at. Nothing in it is presented as live while it is being watched.
It is preparation, not instruction. Levels are context — the places where dealer hedging tends to hold price still, and the place beyond which it stops doing that. Knowing where they are is not the same as knowing what to do, and the episode never pretends otherwise.
- No signals. No entry, no exit, no instrument named as something to buy or sell.
- No claim of being live. Every episode is recorded, dated in its own title, and about a session that has not opened yet.
- No bare numbers. A level names its instrument and its tick size — Nasdaq-100 futures move in ticks of 0.25 index points — because a number without those is not information.
- No outcome hidden. When the zone in an episode does not hold, a later episode says it out loud.
